Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Basin, has a requirement for renovation of an existing lab facility (Bldg 1000) located on the Lower Colorado Region campus in Boulder City, NV. Work includes installation of new interior walls, modification of existing millwork, reworking of the existing exterior storage areas at the South side of the building. The work also includes the addition of a vestibule at the East side of the existing building, new window in exterior south wall, removal of existing overhead door at East side of building, and concrete sidewalk/curb site work. This solicitation is set aside for HUBZone small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, which has a small business size standard of $39.5 Million. This acquisition will be pursued in accordance with FAR Part 15 and in accordance with the source selection evaluation criteria included in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Award will be made using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection process. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract as a result of this solicitation, with a required period of performance totaling approximately 180-calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. A pre-proposal site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties. Site visit information (e.g. date, time, location) will be provided with the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation, in the form of an RFP, will be issued on or about June 5, 2020. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. The solicitation will only be issued electronically via Beta SAM.gov. Offerors should register on Beta SAM.gov to be included on the offeror list in order to receive notifications pertaining to the solicitation or visit the Beta SAM.gov website after issuance to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. All parties are responsible for checking the Beta SAM.gov website to ensure that they have the most current information. All dates in this announcement are estimates and are subject to change. The solicitation, once issued, will contain instructions for submitting questions. No questions regarding this acquisition will be accepted or addressed/answered prior to the formal solicitation issuance.
