- This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the original Battery Charging Alternator which is part of the Trailer Mounted Electric Power Plant III (EPP III) used with the PATRIOT Missile Defense System, NSN: 2920-12-314-0812 with OEM BOSCH PN: 0120450015. The EPP III is the main electric power source for the PATRIOT Missile Defense System and the selected spare parts have been identified for maintenance and sustainment purposes. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for these selected spare parts is ROBERT BOSCH GMBH, CAGE: D0815.� The acquisition will likely be a 5-year Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a minimum quantity (QTY) of 257 units and a maximum QTY of 767. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing via email to scott.h.mahoney4.civ@mail.mil. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, ranges for price breaks if applicable or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts.� The response should also include documentation such as a copy of a purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier listed above.� Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
