- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The purpose of this solicitation is for Closed Loop Cooling Tower Water Treatment Monthly Service with a base year to start ARO through September 30th, 2020 plus 4 option years in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall perform service immediately after receipt of order. The contractor shall furnish labor, materials, supervision, and equipment to perform a monthly water treatment service by furnishing water treatment chemicals to maintain a closed loop cooling tower located at Building 102 and UEPH Barracks at US Coast Guard Sector Key West 100 Trumbo Rd. Key West, FL, 33040. Contract terms is Firm Fixed price based on the Statement of Work (SOW) It is highly recommended that all interested parties visit the facilities to make a full evaluation and become familiar with the existing conditions. Site visit will take place at the location stated on the Statement of Work (SOW). The facility shall remain in operation throughout the service. Contractor access to the service site area shall be limited to 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Access to the sites are not permitted after normal working hours or weekends without prior written approval at least 72 hours in advance from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Contractor must be registered in SAM before submitting a quote under this solicitation. The award will be made using trade-off process. Best Value will be determined by the following: 1) Past Performance in treating industrial commercial, or institutional cooling systems in Florida similar to the Coast Guards for the past 5 years and shall be in compliant with federal, state, local, ANSI, and OSHA laws, rules, and regulations. 2.) Price Wage Determination No.: 2015-4584, Rev No.: 13, Date of Revision: 12/23/2019 As prescribed in 17.208(g), insert a clause substantially the same as the following: Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (Mar 2000) ����� (a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 14 days provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 30�days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. ����� (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. ����� (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 4 Years and 6 Months.
