- Description
- Contracts N68936-15-D-0007 with BAE and N68936-15-D-0008 with ISL are two contracts comprising Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA Multiple Award Contracts (MAC) for IETS sustainment and prototyping at NAWCWD. NAWCWD intends to extend the ordering period for the MACs through 07 July 2020. Each contract is Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The Common Geo-Positioning Services Project (CGSP) Team is part of the MEI, which investigates, analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for current Intelligence Exploitation and Targeting Systems (IETS) capability requirements. The CGSP provides the core CGS software and systems capabilities required for accurate geo-location, image exploitation, precise target point mensuration, and targeting product generation for intelligence personnel in operational units and command centers of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines Corps. The scope of the MAC is to focus on the development and fielding of IETS systems/prototypes related to future systems or the sustainment of deployed systems. It describes tasking requirements for continued delivery and fielding of IETS that are based upon or derived from the CGS package of software and related hardware components deployed in the DCGS family of Programs by the Army (DCGS-A), the Air Force (DCGS-AF), the Navy (DCGS-N) and the Marines Corp (DCGS-MC) as well as in intelligence training centers operated by each of the Services and operational installations worldwide. An extension to the MAC ordering period is necessary in order to avoid work stoppage or impact sustainment until follow-on contracts can be awarded. Contractors who believe they can seamlessly take over ongoing sustainment and prototyping must submit a written response demonstrating fully capability without causing hardships to program schedule and costs within 15 days of this posting.
