Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) delivery order (N00019-20-F-0055)against the N00019-18-G-0020 Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Honeywell International Inc. for the procurement of the V-22 Shaft Driven Compressor (SDC) Gear Train Redesign. The delivery order was awarded to Honeywell International Inc. in the amount of $1,854,385. This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Justification and Approval (J&A) number 17-0093, 15 June 2017 - redacted version attached to this announcement.
