- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Olympus America Inc. Medical Systems Group, 3500 Corporate Pkwy Center Valley, PA 18034. The period of performance for contract award will be from June 10, 2020 to July 31, 2020. This requirement is to provide a repair model # BF-H190 Olympus Airway Scope. This will include providing all necessary labor, OEM parts and materials for the Olympus Scope for the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210-2716. All work shall be performed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified technicians authorized by Stryker to do preform repairs and use only new OEM parts. Olympus America Inc. Medical Systems Group is the only known provider since the equipment is proprietary and maintenance therefore only be provided by Olympus America Inc. Medical Group. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by June 4, 2020 by 2:00 pm. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Kimberly.wiatrowski@va.gov.
