- The purpose of this Amendment 0001 is to: (1) extend the solicitation closing date; (2) add FAR clause 52.237-1 and associated site visit information to the RFQ; We are experiencing an administrative issue with our contract writing system. Should we be unable to provide a formal SF30 on which to document the changes herein, this shall serve as Amendment 0001 and must be acknowledged when submitting a quote for this requirement. Acknowledgement can be either signing/stamping this page and scanning along with your quote, or simply stating in your email submission that you acknowledge the changes of this (and any future) amendments to the solicitation.� Any and all changes to the requirement will be communicated via beta.sam.gov. SUMMARY OF CHANGES (1) The solicitation closing date is hereby extended to 06 July 2020 at 10:00 am (CEST). (2) CLAUSES INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE 52.237-1 � Site Visit � (APR 1984)� SITE VISIT: Date & Time of Site visit: 17 June 2020 at 10:00 am (CEST) Location of Site Visit: Camp Normandy GTA Dining Facility BLDG 3305 Quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where performance will take place and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance. All questions and answers from the site visit shall be documented and provided via amendment after the site visit for the benefit of those who are unable to attend. Each vendor is allowed ONE individual to attend the site visit which will take place at the address above. The vendor shall provide the Name, Email, and Phone number of the person attending the site visit to the below escorting points of contact no later than 16 June 2020 in order to ensure an adequate number of escorts are available. The vendor shall have a Passport or German Identification (ID) with at least six (6) months of validity remaining (i.e. expiration date of 17DEC20 or later) in order to be granted installation access by security. The vendor will be signed-in (and then back-out again after the site visit) by an escort through Gate 6. Vendor shall have a face mask and wear it prior to entering the site visit in order to be in compliance with USAG-Bavaria Social Distancing. Vendor may arrive at Gate 6 with a second person for traveling purposes; however, only one representative per vendor shall be granted installation access for the site visit. Any additional representatives will have to wait outside Gate 6 until the site visit is complete and the visitor is signed-out. Vendors are encouraged to arrive at USAG Bavaria Grafenwoehr Gate 6 early and wait until the escorts arrive. The Government escorts will begin signing visitors in at approximately 09:30 am (CEST) and stop signing-in at 09:50 am (CEST) to allow travel time to the site visit location. The number of interested parties may impact how much time is required to ensure all visitors are signed-in. After the Government representatives stop signing-in and leave Gate 6 to travel to the DFAC, any vendors arriving after that takes place (09:50 am CEST) will not be escorted to the site visit. However, the information gained from the site visit will be posted via amendment. All questions and answers are still being compiled and once finalized shall be posted via amendment.
