PERIOD�OF PERFORMANCE� 15-17 JUNE� 2020 � PLACE OF PEFORMANCE USCGC ALEX HEALY,SEATTLE, WA The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, National Security Cutters Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding this procurement to Wartsila Defense, Inc. the�service listed below: Tech Rep. The Contractor shall provide the services of an OEM authorized/ licensed Tech Rep for the thruster unit to accomplish the following on site: Provide manufacturer's proprietary system/ equipment information, software, and tools. Assist with and ensure compliance with manufacturer's procedures and standards during disassembly, inspection, repair, modification, calibration, and reassembly of the equipment/system. More details include in attached scope of work. Justification for Other than Full and Open Copetition in attachements section. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC ALEX HEALY in Seattle, WA. Vendor will provide the part/supply stated in the solicitation description. �NAICS Code # 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 Pacific Time, June 10th, 2020 will be reviewed by the Government. ��A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. �Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: barbara.falero@uscg.mil. The solicitation is restricted to: Wartsila Defense, Inc. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. See justification for other than full and open competition attachment. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Wartsila Defense, Inc.
