- ** AMENDMENT A00003 West Haven CT VAMC Chiller Plant Combined Synopsis Solicitation Vendor Questions and Government Answers ** Please be advised Amendment A00002 was a reposting of Amendment A00001 Question 1: The majority of the equipment specified is crucial to the buildings operations and requires technical expertise to properly manage the equipment and early identification of potential upcoming failures. Please confirm which of the below are required: York Absorber: Does the VA require winning bidder to have minimum of (2) factory trained and actively certified technicians on staff? Is the VA requiring a minimum of 5 years working experience on York Absorption chillers? Answer: YES York Screw Machines: Does the VA require winning bidder to have minimum of (2) factory trained and actively certified technicians on staff? Is the VA requiring a minimum of 5 years working experience on York screw chillers? Answer: YES Question 2: Please confirm (Yes or No) that 24/7 remote monitoring of chiller plant operations (trending, performance analysis and feedback, alarms, remote diagnostics) is required as a part of this RFP.
