Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY20 Maintenance Dredging Monroe Harbor�construction contract.� The contractor will mobilize�equipment to Monroe Harbor, MI�and dredge�within the�limits delineated on the�plans. �Estimated base quantity is�73,000 cubic yards.�Dredging may be completed either mechanically or hydraulically. Dredged material placement in either Cell #2 Sterling State Park CDF or in Pointe Mouillee CDF Cell 5, in accordance with the plans and specifications. � Demobilize once work is complete. General Information:� The estimated price of construction is between $1,000,000 and�$1,500,000 .� The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990�Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of�$30 Million (dredging) in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price�contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses. Anticipated solicitation posting date: July 2020 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and�attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only�electronically and via beta.sam.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be�supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this�solicitation. Please note the Government will not be maintaining a bidders�list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged�to review the ""Interested Vendors List"" found on beta.sam.gov for this�solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal�Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award�Managment (SAM) prior to submission of bid. Contractors can access SAM for�free at www.sam.gov.
