- Description
- The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) has awarded a contract on a sole-source basis to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) (CAGE 3CX85), located in Pittsfield, MA, for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-2023 COLUMBIA (US01) and Dreadnought Class development, production, and installation requirement. �The anticipated contract will contain Level-of-Effort (LOE) and Completion Line items on a Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee (CPIF), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Cost-No-Fee basis with an expected completion date of June 10, 2024. �The award date was June 10, 2020. GDMS is the only known source with the requisite design background, system knowledge and operational experience relative to the TRIDENT II Fire Control Subsystem and Advanced Weapon Control System capable of providing the required efforts within existing technical, cost and fleet schedule constraints. The attached Justification and Approval provides authority to award this as a sole-source effort.� �� This notice is posted in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.301. �This NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS.
