- Page 1 of Page 2 of 2 Page 1 of The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) to obtain urgent repairs to the Buffalo VAMC Siemens YSIO Max Detector X-Ray system currently in use at the Buffalo VAMC.. Period of performance: One-Time Repair Basic description of the requirement: Siemens is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and developer of their YSIO Max Detector X-Ray system and its parts/components, and is the sole authorized provider of maintenance, support and repairs. Siemens will provide a replacement flat panel detector and issue credit on the return of the old panel that was in use at the Buffalo VAMC when it stopped functioning. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by June 17th, 2020 at 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Siemens in the subject line. All documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contracting Officer, Jason Rundle at jason.rundle@va.gov.
