Description

Single Source Notice - FAA Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) operating time for Honeywell APU, Model RE220, Bombardier Global 5000 aircraft maintenance and support coverage. � In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy Section 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis with Honeywell Corporation, based in Phoenix, AZ.� The FAA has a requirement to procure maintenance and support coverage for their Bombardier Global 5000 aircraft located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Consisting of two hundred fifty (250) flight hours.� The duration of this maintenance and support coverage, will run from September 8, 2020 through September 7, 2025. Honeywell Corporation is the only known firm capable of meeting the FAA�s specific requirement.� Accordingly, a competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.� The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.� If you have any questions, these may be submitted to the Primary POC, Stephen Jenniss (Stephen.Jenniss@faa.gov), and the Secondary POC, Jennifer Ferrara (jennifer.ctr.ferrara@faa.gov), by no later than 5 PM (EST) on June 30, 2020.
