Description
This pre-solicitation notice is regarding futue solicitation W52P1J20R5013 is to grade and pave and update the storm sewer system along the East Street corridor from Rodman Avenue to Blunt Road and the parking lot of Building 90. The Contractor shall provide construction services for the project. The premise for this project is to remove, re-grade and replace the existing pavement and sidewalk along East Street from Rodman Avenue to Blunt Road including the intersections with North Avenue, East Circle Drive, Ramsey Road, King Drive, Terrace Drive and Blunt Road. East Street along with all side street and entrance connections shall be Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) with reinforcement at the joints with a 6"" curb and gutter at 2.5� width, placed on modified subbase. Subdrain tile shall be installed along the gutter line and tied into new storm intakes. Sidewalk shall be PCC, placed on modified subbase with welded wire fabric. Typical sidewalk width on the west side of East Street shall 10' and the east side shall be 6'. A portion of the sidewalk will be exposed aggregate. Existing storm drainage shall be removed and replaced. The project will also remove, re-grade and replace the existing pavement for the parking lot of Building 90. The parking lot shall be PCC, placed on modified subbase. Storm drainage is designed to flow to the middle of the parking lot where new storm intakes will be installed. The parking lot will be graded to accommodate 6"" curb and gutter at a 2.5' width. A PCC sidewalk is being added to portions of the parking lot. The sidewalk shall have an exposed aggregate finish, placed on modified subbase with welded wire fabric. The project shall be constructed using the Iowa State Urban Design and Specifications Program (SUDAS). This project will be solicited as a�small business set-aside�competition under NAICS 238220. Please note, this is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forth coming and will be posted on or around�10�July 2020 with all necessary documents to include the scope of work (SOW). In accordance with FAR 36.204, the total estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for this project. Please take note that any necessary documents for this buy will be released at time of solicitation.
