- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION: Toyota s Order Picker or Equal (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number 36C25620Q0782 (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94, 2005-95 / 01-19-202. (IV) This solicitation is being issued as a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 333912. The small business size standard is 1000 Employees. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial services: Contractor shall furnish supplies and Installation for the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, 2002 Holcombe Boulevard Houston, TX 77030 (VI) Description of requirements is as follows: Due to the limited spacing in the warehouse the MEDVAMC is requiring a specific order picker to fit in the spaces allotted in the warehouse. The order picker will need to consist of having the following features: Lift Height -240"", Base Model Capacity - 3,000 lbs. @ 24"" load center, Base Model Capacity - 3,000 lbs. @ 24"" load center and 40"" Overall Width. The Logistics team has researched several companies, and none were able to provide the features that are required for work capability in the warehouse with the limited space. (b) The place of acceptance will be: Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, 2002 Holcombe Boulevard Houston, TX 77030 Quotes are required to be received in the contracting office no later than 2:30 P.M. CST on June 24, 2020.
