- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement for supplies and services to support the deployment of a NAVAIR automated three-Dimensional (3D) Portable Document Format (PDF) and browser-based publishing capability integrated with the Automated Logistics Environment (ALE) Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AVPLM) software infrastructure. The Contractor shall provide brand name Anark Core Server (ACS) and Anark Core MBEWeb (ACM) software licenses, annual maintenance and support for the software licenses, and professional support services to develop and deploy a robust integrated and automated publishing capability, which will mature and expand over a contract period that will consist of a base year and (4) one-year option periods. The intended contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. Professional Support Services shall include, at a minimum, integration of ALE AVPLM information technology (IT) systems capabilities into Anark Core Server system workflows, and to support data interface and ingestion from authoritative data sources to deploy an automated, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)-driven Technical Data Package (TDP) publishing and collaboration system integrated with the ALE AVPLM environment. The Contractor shall use Anark business cases developed in previous projects with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA); NAVAIR PMA-261 H-53K Program; and Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst; as well as the Air Force; and the Army. The Contractor shall use the projects in the deployment of automated, PLM-integrated publishing systems capable of ingesting proprietary model data, verifying and validating the data, and publishing 3D TDPs in 3D PDF or HTML5 formats instead of native 3D models. These supplies and development services will provide NAVAIR engineering the ability to generate 3D PDFs and browser-based derivatives as required from master model-based design data stored in AVPLM. The Contractor shall develop a process for technical data receipt, verification, validation, and data publication using ACS and ACM software, custom templates and recipes, and data exchange interfaces developed during the performance of the intended contract.
