- Description
- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. Military Sealift Command (MSC) Ship Support Unit (SSU) Guam is issuing this notice as a means of market research to identify parties having the resources to support the requirement below. A response from a source other than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or OEM-certified provider may be considered. The requirement is to provide an OEM-certified technical representative to carry out inspection and servicing of circuit breakers (see attached Performance Work Statement). The anticipated performance period is 17 August 2020 25 September 2020 and work will be accomplished at the Contractors facility. The circuit breakers are currently located at the MSC W-143 warehouse in Norfolk, VA. Once the contract has been awarded, the Government will ship them to the Contractors repair facility. Once the repairs are complete, the Government will arrange for shipment of the circuit breakers from the Contractors facility back to MSC W-143 warehouse in Norfolk, VA. All Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Certified HUBZone and Certified Section 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government's best interest. MSC SSU Guam anticipates award of a contract on or around 12 August 2020. The anticipated NAICS code for this procurement is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. It is requested that interested firms submit a brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to fulfill this requirement to M-GU-SSUN10@fe.navy.mil. This package shall address, at a minimum, the following: (1) Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE Code and a statement regarding small business designation and status; (2) The facility where the work will be performed; (3) Partnership, teaming, joint ventures, or mentor-protg agreements with any large businesses. Submission of a capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Government in tailoring this requirement to be consistent with industry. RESPONSES ARE DUE by 29 June 2020 at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Responses shall be sent via email to the following address: M-GU-SSUN10@fe.navy.mil.
