- The Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC), Contracting Department intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for Floor Scrubbers and Vacuum s. The contractor shall provide Lebanon Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center replacement vacuum cleaners for the current ones that have exceeded its life cycle. The purpose of this equipment is to help the housekeeping staff keep the floors clean and free of debris, dirt and help the medical center maintain a healthy environment for both patients and staff members. The vacuum cleaners should be of an intelligent design, exceptional engineering, innovative technology, reliable, performance and ease of maintenance. There is also a need for riding floor scrubbers to maximize cleaning efficiency and productivity. The floor scrubbers shall be a combination of innovative technology, intelligent design, exceptional engineering, reliable and be at a reasonable cost to the government. These will be used by the housekeeping staff to help the medical center maintain a healthy environment for both patients and staff members. See SOW with RFQ. NAICS code is 561740 Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning. The size standard is 750 employees. The FSC is 7910 Floor Polishers and Vacuum Cleaning Equipment. Upon its release, the solicitation will be issued electronically and be available for downloading at www.beta.sam.gov on or about June 23, 2020,. The solicitation will be a Request for Quote will be issued as a SDVOSB (service disabled veteran owned small business) Set-Aside. The closing date for the receipt of offers will be set forth in the RFQ. Paper copies, faxed copies, or e-mail copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the RFQ and any amendments hereto. The Government will not pay for the information received. By submitting an offer, the offeror is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM), database prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
