Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) and 6.302-1(c), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and brand name descriptions.� The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Tenant Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005 has a requirement to procure the following: Quantity of three (3), Information Technology Systems -�6055C-10GHD, 10-Channel Text-Time HD VI w/GPS, Metadata inserter Quantity of two (2), Information Technology Systems - 6055C-4GHD, 4-Channel Text-Time HD VI w/GPS, Metadata inserter The contract shall include the purchase and delivery of the inserters. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Instrumentation Technology Systems (ITS), Cage Code 57414. The contractor is the sole design, engineering, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) as well as�sole distributor of the above listed video inserters. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334310 and the business size standard is 750 Employees. Posting date of this requirement is 24 June, 2020. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 8 July 2020. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. This is not a Request for Quote.
