- This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this Sources Sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government may entertain question concerning this market research. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of business to provide repair services for a Carrier Chiller that provides chilled water for the air conditioning system. The Carrier Chiller has two refrigeration circuits. The motor/oil pump assemblies on the unit leak and need replacement, along with any necessary modifications to the piping. The most current version of the motor/oil pumps that are available from carrier, or equal will be acceptable. The replacement of the pumps will be of the type that are not prone to leakage. Any remaining refrigerant (r134a) and oil will be drained and recovered for re-use in the system. Both circuits will need to be charged and oil filled to factory levels of Carrier approved oil and refrigerant. Carrier Chiller Model Number: 30HXC106R-600- Carrier Chiller Serial Number: 2998F57251 Refrigerant Load: CIRCUIT A, 110 Pounds R134A CIRCUIT B, 70 Pounds R134A Potential offers having technical capabilities necessary to meet the needs of the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via email. The capability statement must include the following: 1) Company name and point of contact information. 2) DUNS Number 3) Business size whether large or small. If small please provide size/certification (to include 8(A), HUBZONE, SDVOSB, ETC.) 4) Brief explanation of the type of motor/pump assemblies that your company manufactures or resells and its capabilities. (Please include any warranty / extended warranty information your company offers.) 5) If reselling, include the brand, company name, and place of manufacture of the equipment you are reselling Responses are due no later than 17:00 PM, PT, Monday, June 29, 2020, and shall be electronically submitted to Terry Mest at tmest@usbr.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be mad for any cost associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
