Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award to Bloomberg Finance L.P. Address: 731 Lexington Ave New York, NY 10022-1331. This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. The purpose of the acquisition is to procure Bloomberg Terminal Licenses to provide users access to the information regarding vendor ownership and finances, production centers, organizational supply chain vendors, leadership biographies, and translated news articles and updates from professional journals.� The information provided by the product will enable the USCG to detect, identify, and mitigate threats directed towards acquisition and procurement efforts while also allowing the USCG to be compliant with the Federal Acquisition Supply Chain Security Act of 2018 and the Intelligence Community Directive 731, Supply Chain Risk Management for the Intelligence Community. This action is being taken in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this notice. This notice serves as both a synopsis of the requirement and public notice of the USCG's intent to sole source. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement.� All responses shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Jazmine Gordon via email to Jazmine.T.Gordon@uscg.mil �by 12:00 PM EST on July 01, 2020 reference no. 70Z02320QRJ716200.� As a result of this notice, a separate award notice or further public notices shall not be made. This notice constitutes all of the USCG's public notice requirements. Emailed responses will only be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.
