Description

SYNOPSIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:� The 19th Contracting Squadron, Little Rock AFB, Arkansas intends to award a sole source purchase order to HARRIS CORP. �This requirement is for an upgrade of Harris PRC-152 radios to the current PRC-I 52A version. Each radio will be sent to the company and an upgraded radio will be returned to LRAFB. The following accessories will be included with each radio upgrade: AN/PRC-152A hand-held�63 Wh battery, Multiband antenna, and UHF antenna. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.501(a). The anticipated award date is 31 JULY 2020. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 8�JULY 2020 at 10 AM Central Standard Time. NOTE: This is stricly for the actual upgrade service. We are not interested in acquiring the newer model as we already have a stock that can be upgraded.� A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
