Description
Veteran Affairs Healthcare Systems (VA HCS) Replace Air Compressors 635-20-133 at the Oklahoma VAMC, Oklahoma City, OK This project is to replace existing the two (2) 125 HP air compressors with (2) new 100 HP air compressors located at the VAMC, OKC, Oklahoma.� The contractor is fully responsible for verifying and validating all information contained within this statement of work.� Contractor must fully evaluate the condition of the existing structures and verify the current condition of the project site. All measurements/quantities provided in this document are approximate and are to be used for reference only.� The contractor will be responsible for taking on-site measurements and verifying all quantities and distances. All materials/fasteners/etc. must be new and provided by the contractor unless otherwise specified. The contractor shall abide by all Safety, Security and Infection Control Policies and Procedures of the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. VA facilities are tobacco free.� No smoking is permitted on VA property. The contractor is responsible for their subcontractor�s compliance with this policy. All work must conform to, and comply with, the latest edition/version of ALL applicable VA, federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes, and standards. ���� The existing two (2) air compressors were installed in 2003, 17 years old.� The existing two (2) air compressors are out of life service (10 years) and need constant repair and are energy inefficient. The VA is currently spending thousands of dollars every month on servicing and overtime hours from our in-house technicians. The (2) new 100 HP water cooled air compressors will be energy efficient and will save on our service agreement and the man hours. � ����� The contractor shall provide supervision, manpower, and materials to replace existing two (2) 125 HP air compressors with two (2) new 100 HP air compressors.� Contractor shall provide included but not limit to the following: Remove the 2 current air cooled 125 hp air compressors. Lockout tagout all electrical to air compressors. Contractor shall obtain a permit for crane.� The crane will be used to rig out the old air ������compressors and install new air compressors. Install new chilled water piping for cooling of the new water-cooled air compressors. Connect new desiccant dryer, with piped filters and 3-valve bypass and purge savings. Install new demand flow controller after dry tank. Insulate the new chilled water piping. Reconnect power to air compressors. Startup air compressor for operation testing, run air compressors at full load and check operation. Return to service. Clean up job site.� � ���� This full solicitation will be 100% Service-Disabled Small Business set-aside competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, size standard $36.5M. Magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. � This is a total Service-Disabled Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. � All offerors must be registered in SAMS data base, see https://www.sam.gov and complete online Reps and Certs at http://www.sam.gov. All SDVOSB offerors must be registered in VetBiz at http://www.vetbiz.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at this website only. All offerors must obtain amendments at this website; hard copies will not be mailed.
