Description
Request for Information (RFI) Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), which manages and operates portions of the Savannah River Site (SRS) under a Department of Energy (DOE) prime contract, seeks information from parties, capable of managing the process of hiring and onboarding a candidate, both internal and external as described within this request for information (RFI). This RFI is issued to assist with finding potential suppliers interested in this solicitation. The SRS is located approximately 15 miles south of Aiken, South Carolina and is 310 contiguous square miles. The approximate number of employees at SRS is ~12,000. Scope Summary All applicable Federal, State, Local and Department of Energy regulations apply to the work described herein. Specific requirements will be provided with the final scope of work (SOW). The subcontractor will be required to follow all SRNS programs, policies and procedures applicable to the management of hiring a candidate as outlined in the Human Resources Manual (5B), and applicable regulations.� Documents are attached to this RFI for reference purposes.� The number of job postings may vary depending on hiring practices. Audits, Assessments and Inspections SRNS reserves the right to audit the hiring process as deemed necessary in order to ensure full compliance with Equal Employer Opportunity (EEO), Department of Labor (DOL), Employee Rights Under the National Labor Relations Act, Americans with Disability Act (ADA) Accommodation, DOE 426.2, and other state and federal regulations.� Productivity and Subcontractor Scope Execution At a minimum, the subcontractor shall meet the productivity requirements outlined below: The subcontractor will manage the job posting and hiring process of full service, limited service and student interns to fill open vacancies provided by SRNS Work Force Services. Upon receipt of a vacancy identified from the requesting manager, the subcontractor will streamline a process to source, recruit, hire, onboard and sustain a new hire. The subcontractor will implement a process for positive results for reaching and retaining a more targeted audience for filling skills that are needed. The subcontractor will post the position for the number of days identified by the requesting manager. The subcontractor will have an efficient screening process that reduces the turnaround time to provide qualified candidates to the requesting manager. The requesting manager will provide the criteria per posting based on basic qualifications only, or basic or other preferred qualifications. The subcontractor will screen resumes in a timely manner and filter eligible candidates to SRNS requesting manager. The subcontractor will coordinate interviews, assist in selecting candidates and notify candidates of hiring status. The subcontractor will notify non-qualified candidates. The subcontractor will notify candidates if selected for interview. The subcontractor will notify interviewed candidates not selected for position. The subcontractor will coordinate job offer and onboarding process. The subcontractor will notify next candidate if previous candidate does not accept job offer. Then subcontractor will communicate the sourcing, hiring, and selection process to the candidate. The subcontractor will electronically submit supporting documentation to SRNS Human Resources for Employee Information Record within 24 hours upon request. A supplier�s response to this RFI does not guarantee they will be selected to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP).� Suppliers responding to this RFI shall include evidence of the following: Capabilities statement Overview of how the subcontractor intends to perform the service therein.
