Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice Maintenance Dredging USCG Station Noyo River The Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit in Oakland California announces the pre-solicitation to dredge and dispose of sediment from the mooring at U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Station Noyo River, located within the Noyo River Harbor in Fort Bragg, California. The dredged sediment shall be permanently disposed of at a Contractor furnished approved upland disposal location. This notice is posted in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 and FAR Part 36.213-2. The project requires the Contractor to provide all management, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, expertise, and supervision necessary to perform the work in accordance the specifications and drawings, which will be included with the solicitation package. Invitations for bids (IFB) shall be prepared in accordance with Subpart 14.2. Specifics for the Project and Proposal Requirement will be included in the solicitation. The IFB for this procurement will be available for viewing and downloading on approximately May 25, 2020. The date for receipt of bids is 12:00 p.m., P.S.T., June 25, 2020 and it will be shown on the Solicitation, Offer and Award (Standard Form 1442). Bids must be submitted to Civil Engineering Unit Oakland, 1301 Clay Street 7th Floor, Suite 700N, Oakland, CA 94612-5500. Bids submitted electronically will not be accepted. THE SOLICIATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY BY INTERNET AT http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any prospective bidders must register at the website. The official plan holders list will be created from the internet registration and will be available from the website only. Amendments will be posted on the website for downloading. This will be the normal method of distributing amendments; therefore, it is the contractors' responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Contractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Registration in the SAM database can be accomplished at the website https://www.sam.gov. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible. A new contract can ONLY be made to a contractor who is registered in SAM. The Davis Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.) applies to this solicitation. Check the http://www/ wdol.gov for current wage determination information from the Department of Labor. Magnitude of the proposed construction project: Between $500,000 to $1,000,000 THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE SOLICITATION, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS.
