- �(i)������� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. (ii)������� The solicitation number is 75N95020Q00103 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).� This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13�Simplified Acquisition Procedures; FAR Subpart 13.5�Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items; and FAR Part 12�Acquisition of Commercial Items, and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price purchase order for this acquisition. (iii)������ The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) Number 2020-07, with effective date July 2, 2020. (iv)������ This requirement is full and open with no set-aside restrictions. The NAICS code is 541380 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million.� (v)������� This requirement is for the following services: To provide chemical acquisition, permeability and toxicity screening, and yeast three-hybrid screening for two target probes against a library of fusion-proteins. This acquisition is designed to allow for the target deconvolution for two target probe molecules, and assessment of unknown activities. (vi)������ The statement of work with a description of the services to be performed is included as Attachment 1 to this Solicitation. (vii)����� The period of performance will be twelve (12) months. The evaluation will compare: Technical Capability of the services to meet the Government requirement, Price, Terms and Conditions, and Past Performance. Responses may exceed capability or performance characteristics of the solicitation�s requirements. The Government reserves the right, but is not required, to award to a response that exceeds capability or performance characteristics of the solicitation�s requirements if it provides a benefit to the Government.
