BIOMEDICAL REPAIR TRAINING ON THE ZOLL R SERIES AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED) FOR THE WILKES BARRE VAMC PURPOSE Wilkes-Barre VAMC Determined the need for technical training on the Zoll, R Series Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the biomedical engineering department. Training is to be conducted at Wilkes-Barre VAMC, Biomedical Engineering Department, located at 1111 East End Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. This training is to assist 10 Biomedical Technicians the ability to for the perform preventative maintenance and repair for Zoll R Series AED. The training shall be conducted in 2 day-shift session during the month of the Month of September-October 2020 Period of Performance: The training shall be conducted in 2 day-shift session during the month of the Month of September-October 2020 3. Contract Type: Firm Fixed Priced 4. Scope of Work : Training to include the following topics. ZOLL service overview Contact options Field Service options Documents Device operation and functionality Device introduction Configuration and Service menu Data, configuration, and software Troubleshooting logs Configuration and testing Software upgrade Battery management Battery technology Maintenance and health Functionality and overview of monitoring parameters Technology overview and troubleshooting SPO2 EtCO2 NIBP ECG Preventive maintenance procedures Overview Common problems and solutions Troubleshooting Common issues and solutions Using available logs Basic repair & disassembly Device parts Disassembly techniques Vendor Responsibilities Provide handouts/ technical manuals in written or electronic form. Provide a didactic setting to test participant knowledge on the materials covered. Provide a written Certificate of Completion.
