Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Air Chuck Inc. for an SEI Industries Red Dragon aerial ignition system, two PyroShot devices, and sphere ignition devices under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 �Only One Source and No Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government anticipates the award of a firm fixed-price contract subject to successful past performance and the availability of current year funding. The total estimated dollar value is $26,557.54. The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Regional Office, Forestry Branch requires a vendor to supply one (1) Aerial Fire Ignition System Red Dragon Plastic Sphere Dispenser (PSD) AND two (2) PyroShot High Speed DCID Launchers with 15 inch barrel and 5 inch handle with accessories listed below in section II. This aerial ignition system will be used to support fire suppression programs instituted by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Regional Office, Forestry Division as needed. The Red Dragon plastic sphere dispenser is exclusive to SEI Industries and its� authorized dealers. Also, the PyroShot launchers are exclusive to Air Chuck Inc., which is an authorized dealer for the Red Dragon aerial ignition system. No solicitation is available, and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 325920. If a firm believes that BIA should not pursue this procurement, it should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement by 12:00pm CST on July 15, 2020.
