THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation 1305M2-20-Q-00478-NCNS constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-06.� �� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �� The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS), 331 Ft. Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412, has a requirement for a scanning electron microscope with delivery no later than September 15, 2020.� Quotes shall be FOB destination, please include freight to the location listed above. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on lowest price technically acceptable. Quote shall include all costs associated with each CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor�s quote.� This RFQ is provided for full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any,; All questions must be submitted in writing to Natasha.Thieman@noaa.gov by 11:00 am. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), on July 17, 2020. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. �Contractors are encouraged to register with the Contract Opportunities Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within Contract Opportunities where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on June 26, 2020; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on the LPTA. Quotes must be submitted electronically via e-mail to Natasha.Thieman@noaa.gov. Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/. The anticipated award date is on or about July 24, 2020. The Government does not accept responsibility for non-receipt of quotes. It is the Contractor�s responsibility to request and receive a confirmation of the quote receipt.
