- This HREP project includes the construction of floodplain forests and berms of various sizes and shapes within the Mississippi River, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.� McGregor Lake is a 201-acre, shallow lake, situated mid river between Marquette, Iowa and Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin in Mississippi River. The project features include 6-floodplane forest areas, habitat dredge channels, erosion protection structures. Such features have the objective of improving aquatic and terrestrial habitat all without impacting navigation.� In�accordance with DFARS 236-204, the anticipated magnitude of this project is reported as �Between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000.
