- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide maintenance dredging of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) channel between Morehead City and Shallotte, North Carolina and Channels to Jacksonville, W912PM20B0019. 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT: The magnitude of construction for this work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. NAICS 237990 � Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $30,00,000.00. The maintenance dredging work will consist of removal of shoaled material that has accumulated in the channels since the various areas were last dredged.� Dredging depth is 12� required depth plus 2� of allowable overdepth for the AIWW channels.� Placement of dredged material will be on approved ocean beaches. All dredging shall be performed by hydraulic cutter suction dredge. There is no environmental dredging window for the AIWW channels.� The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation.� This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only.� No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc) will be provided.�� Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.� Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
