- This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3-1 year Options for The DETECTOR, GAS - NSN- 6665-01-538-8384, Part Number 17G4632226-1. The Basic is for Qty of 1 each. First Article (1 EA), Test Plan (1 EA), and Test Report (1 EA). The 3-1 year Options are based on Qty 1 each. The C-17A Center Bay Wing Fuel Tanks function as the extension to the two inboard main fuel tanks. It provides an additional capacity of 67,138 LBS of fuel to extend the operation range of the aircraft. Inside the Cargo Compartment, a secondary barrier is mounted below the fuel tanks to contain fuel or gas vapors leaking from the tanks. A means is required at the organizational and depot levels of maintenance to detect for fuel and gas vapor levels in the cavity between the primary fuel tank and the secondary barrier. DESCRIPTION SIZE: 21� L x 17� W x 9� H WEIGHT: 25 LBS MATERIAL: PLASTIC CASE FINISH: IMPREGNATED COLOR: GREEN OPERATING TEMPERATURE: 14� F to 104� F This requirement will be a set-aside for Small Business. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ. We anticipate release of the RFQ on or around 28 July 2020 with an estimated response date of 26 August 2020.
