Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. Therefore, NO QUOTES are required at this time. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Other than Small Businesses and/or Small Businesses, including VIP-Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 311423. This project aims to procure a 3-day emergency meal supply to feed 485 patient/residents. This emergency meal product will be freeze dried, suitable for therapeutic diets and have an assortment of meal plans. Maximum water dependence for food preparation limited to 40-42 oz ( gallon) of water per person per day for food rehydration. Additional product requirements are as follows: 10-year shelf life Vegetarian meals Easily prepared using hot or cold water No preservatives and USDA inspected ingredients Three (3) course meal and nutritionally adequate (2000 calories per day) Complete with dining kits including meal-serving plates, cups napkins and spoon Beverages included orange drink and coffee Hermetically sealed, light weight and easy storage Meal serving instructions and guides for meal management Delivery 30 day after receipt of order Responses should address how you will meet the Government's needs and provide a brief capability statement.
