- Description
- The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for design, qualification and production and repair of the Vibration Analyzer, PBS-4100+ NSN: 6635-01-630-9391 and various accessories kits. The purpose of the Portable Balancing System (PBS)-4100+ is used to perform trim balance and vibration diagnostics on many types of gas turbine engines and other rotating machinery. This equipment offers added features and enhanced functionality to simplify the job of engine mechanics and flight line personnel. Small, lightweight, fast working and ruggedly built, incorporates the latest configuration of electronics to maximize performance and maintainability. The PBS-4100+ is capable of automatically collecting and recording the vibration data, calculating precise balance solution and determining the specific balance weights required (all in one shot after one engine run). The PBS-4100+ also allows the user to select the engine type from an onscreen menu and recall data files for that engine type.
