- Page 2 of 2 Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this sources sought notice in order to identify entities that could provide training for modern forms and work flow and business solutions with power apps for approximately 17 employees. Description of Work : The Contractor shall provide training virtually or at a vendor approved training center location classroom to HRSC staff on PowerApps and Flow for designing modern forms and workflow, building business solutions with PowerApps and flow. These trainings must be instructor-led and provide a complete breakdown of Microsoft PowerApps as well as a showcase for Microsoft Flow from start to finish in an engaging and practical way. The courses must educate staff how to design, test and publish new applications that work with a variety of data. Technical Qualifications The contractor must be able to provide the following education. An introduction to Microsoft Power Apps including the training of PowerApps templates, building new apps with a data source, add/edit and remove controls, testing of the App. App settings, publishing and sharing Apps and mobile App. Branding and Media including the training of linking control properties, backgrounds, colures and transparency, duplicating screens, coping the look and feel, using images and how to embed and play audio and video. PowerApp Controls including the training of labels, buttons, text inputs, controls, galleries, data tables, forms, media, charts and icons. Data source and logistics including the training of working with files, databases, filter/sort and research formulas, if and select, accessing on-premises sources, common data sources and sharing data sources. Model Driven Apps including the training and understanding of what a model-driven app is, where will the data be stored, how to create a model driven app, canvas verse a model driven summary and mobile apps. PowerApps Integration including the training of start and flow from a PowerApp, embed PowerApps in teams and embed PowerApps in SharePoint Online. Administration and Maintenance of Power Apps including the training of maintaining an app, view analytics, export and import apps, Office 365 administration for PowerApps, environments, data policies and data integration. Microsoft Flow including the training of using flow templates, navigating in flow, editing a flow, publish and trigger a flow and turn off or delete a flow. Flow Logic including the training of adding conditions, designing switches, using apply to each, configuring do until logic and adding a scope. Integration including the training of standard and premium connectors, connecting to web services and using flow with on-premises data. Mobile App including the training of downloading the mobile app, signing in and account management, building and managing flows, creating buttons and feeds and approvals. Administration and Maintenance Microsoft Flow including the training of maintaining a flow, view and history of analytics, sharing a flow, export and import flows, Office 365 administration for flow, environments, data policies and data integration. Power Platforms including an overview of Power Platform and training in writing expressions for screen and control properties, understanding connectors and data binding and building canvas apps targeting mobile devices Building Data-driven Canvas Apps including training of displaying data using galleries and item Templates, using table functions to filter and sort data, understanding how delegation works, updating data using edit forms and data cards and customizing SharePoint list forms Fundamental Concepts of Microsoft Flow including training in building flows using triggers and actions, using control-of-flow-actions, writing advanced flow expressions, executing a flow from a canvas app and handling flow execution errors. Building Flows to Manage Content and Approvals including the training of reading and writing SharePoint list content, uploading documents/ images/ photos, using flow to generate word and PDF files, using flow to automate approval processes and managing approvals using approvals center. Integrating PowerApps and Flow with Power BI including an overview and training of Power BI integration features, embedding Power BI dashboard tiles in PowerApps, extending Power BI reports in canvas apps, designing flows to update real time dashboards and triggering flows using Power BI dashboard alerts. Common Data Service including an overview and training on common data services for apps, importing data to the CDSA, working with standard entities, accessing CDSA from canvas app, customizing standard entities and creating custom entity. Building Model-driven Apps including an overview and training on Model-driven Apps, building site maps for user navigation, customizing entity views and forms, creating business rules, creating business process flows and customizing the views for an entity. Integrating Power Apps with External Systems including training on calling external services using HTTP actions, executing child flows from parent flows, processing Microsoft forms using HTTP trigger, creating and testing custom connector and connecting to data using the on-premises gateway. PowerApps Application Life Cycle Management including an overview and training on understanding environments and DLP policies, single-environment ALP strategies, exporting and importing canvas Apps and flows, understanding publishers and solutions, exporting and importing solutions and ALM using managed solutions. Interested & Capable Responses: NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities and qualifications necessary to provide this training. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing these types of training services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities. 3. GSA contract number, if your company has one. Important note: your GSA contract must include line item for graphic artist or similar occupational class. 4.
