- 1.������ INTRODUCTION The Naval Station Mayport intends to solicit competitive quotes in support of Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE) located in Jacksonville, Florida using FAR subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This requirement is set aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) within a 75 mile radius of Naval Station Mayport.� A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted following this notice.� Quotations will be due on or about two (3) weeks after the issuance of the RFQ.� NAVFAC SE intends to award a firm-fixed-priced purchase order by 30 September 2020. 2.������ REQUIREMENT This is a construction project intended to consolidate rooms 48 and 48A into one office space and update finishes in the space for the security area located in building 1488 onboard Naval Station Mayport. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and other incidental work required to complete this project. Other incidental work required includes any and all items necessary to ensure a complete, usable and maintainable final product including the work not specifically stated elsewhere in this Statement of Work (SOW). 3.������ SYNOPSIS OF REQUIREMENT Anticipated period of performance is 180 calendar days from date of award to complete the requirement as validated by the Government.� Period of performance includes 30-45 days of submittals.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 � Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with size standard of $39.5 million.� The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is Z2AZ.� This requirement is a set-aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) small business concerns only with the applicable NAICS within a 75 mile radius of Naval Station Mayport.� Applicable concerns must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov).� Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted. 4.������ SITE VISIT A one (1) day site visit will be held 30 July 2020.� Interested parties (WOSB concerns only) shall contact Stacey Miller, stacey.miller@navy.mil, NLT 27 July 2020 12:00 PM for site visit information.� Participation in the site visit is highly encouraged, but not required. 5.������ PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Naval Station Mayport Jacksonville, Florida 32228-0067 6.������ CONTRACTING POINT OF CONTACT����� Stacey Miller Contract Specialist stacey.miller@navy.mil 7.������ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Any aforementioned dates are subject to change.� All amendments to the solicitation will be posted on this website.� Offerors are cautioned to check the website periodically for amendments.� A solicitation mailing list will not be compiled and amendments will not be sent out in paper copy.
