Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Contract Operations Branch is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision For the Muskie Parking Lot Paving project in Augusta, ME. The contactor will be responsible to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to mill 2� of approximately 81,000 sf, repave and sealing the same. The contractor will be required to remove existing concrete curbing and islands and provide new concrete curbing. All paving requires the milling of 2� from the existing surfaces, tack all milled surfaces, and repave with 9.5 or 12.5mm mix and seal. After the paving has been completed, proceed with painting the lot that includes 2 handicap slots, crosswalks and approximately 200 regular vehicle parking slots. All work shall comply with materials, workmanship, and other applicable specifications of Maine DOT (MDOT) for asphalt paving. Option 1 is to furnish and install granite curbing instead of concrete curbing at the island in Area 1, at the island separating Area 2 from Area �Not in Contract�, and at approximately 65 liner feet of the upper part of Area 2 along the driveway. This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $800,000.00. The NAICS code is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with the small business size standard of $16.5 Million. The solicitation will be released on or about July 1, 2020, with a proposal due date on or about July 23, 2020. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for on or about July 9, 2020. Technical documents will be available through the secure website via beta.sam.gov. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror�s responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the RFP, and amendments and any related information.
