Description
The US Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, is seeking sources to maintain the WX-500 STORM SCOPE, NSN: 5841-01-536-9302, P/N: 805-11500-001, the WX-1000E Stormscope Processor, NSN 5841-01-459-9517, P/N: 78-860-6092-3 with major, minor and test & inspect categories . The current source for supply is L3 Communications Avionics Systems, 5353 52nd Street, Grand Rapids, MI 49512-9407, CAGE: 25583. The contract�s period of performance is estimated to be FY2021 through FY2022 to sustain existing LRUs in the field. A complete technical data package defining the item above to maintain it is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit should indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRA-AB, 6560 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can supply the Army with units that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the units from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that this item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
