- Description
- The Library of Congress (Library) seeks to make internship placements and temporary employment placements at the Library more accessible to students and recent graduates by offering paid opportunities. Unpaid opportunities can be an impediment to qualified candidates who cannot afford to work without pay. In order to supplement its own efforts, the Library is seeking contract support for the professional recruitment of currently-enrolled undergraduate and graduate students from degree-granting programs of study, as well as recent graduates, to fill certain placements at the Library. LOC Internships Program interns and LOC Conduit Program participants may be required to work at Library facilities in (1) Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill, (2) the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area at other locations, and (3) Culpepper, VA. However, interns and participants may be required to work remotely at the Librarys discretion. The Library currently has the following two types of opportunities: (1) the LOC Internships program and (2) the LOC Conduit Program (please see the solicitation for details). Offerors may bid on one program, or the other, or both. The resulting contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for recruitment and other related services for the LOC Internships program and LOC Conduit Program. The Library will place orders against the resulting IDIQ contract for specific requirements. Amendment 0001 corrects the response date for Offeror Questions from July 13, 2020 to July 7, 2020. Amendment 0002 provides Attachment J-5 - Responses to Offeror Questions and revised Attachment J-1 and J-2. Revised Attachments J-1 and J-2 replace the previously issued J-1 and J-2. Amendment 0003 removes the page limit from the Price Proposal, as shown in Section L.
