Note:� This synopsis follows a Small Business Sources Sought notice that was released on May 22, 2020 under HHS?NIH?NCI?SBSS?PCPSB?00035-AM, and a Sources Sought notice that was also released on May 22, 2020 under HHS?NIH?NCI?SS?PCPSB?00035-AM THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON A LATER DATE. Description: The Surveillance Research Program (SRP) within the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) and the Prevention, Control and Population Sciences Branch (PCPSB) within the Office of Acquisitions (OA), National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, intends to solicit for the provision of modeling support and technical and logistical support to facilitate collaborative efforts of the Cancer Intervention and Surveillance Modeling Network (CISNET), a consortium of NCI-funded investigators who use simulation modeling to extend evidence provided by trial,� epidemiologic, and surveillance data to guide public health research and priorities. This is a re-competition of contract HHSN261201300002I �Technical and Logistical Support for Cancer Surveillance� contract with Cornerstone Systems Northwest, Inc. Technical and Contractual Requirement: The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain the services of a contractor to provide modeling support, and technical and logistical support to facilitate collaborative efforts of the CISNET Consortium in cancer surveillance, including cancer simulation modeling using a multicohort approach, flexible broad-based natural history models of cancer, and comparative modeling managed through a web-based Knowledge Management System with adaptable data structures.� The proposed acquisition will involve the following type of activities under the following task areas: Knowledge Management System to include a) Development of new knowledge management system and b) Transfer of historical content from current system. Model Profile and Documentation System CISNET Model Registry System CISNET Publication Support and Modeling Resources (PSMR) Website Model Stress Tests Documentation Support of the CISNET Programmers/Model Accessibility Workgroup Meeting Support, Call Support, Onboarding of New Members and General Consortium Participation Limited Model Interface Systems Hardware and Software Support Other Ancillary Projects The Product Service Code (PSC) is R499 Support � Professional: Other Services. �The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 518210 � Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services. The NCI anticipates awarding one (1) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 16.5 �Indefinite-Delivery Contracts�. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded on or around December 30, 2020, with an ordering period of five (5) years. ��The NCI anticipates awarding Task Order 1 simultaneously with the base IDIQ inclusive of a base period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year option periods. �� Place of Performance: Contractor�s work site. Set Aside Status: This acquisition is NOT anticipated to be a Small Business Set-Aside. Anticipated Request for Proposal: Request for Proposal (RFP) 75N91020R00035 will be available on or about August 13, 2020.
