Introduction The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration has a requirement to purchase (2ea) X-Ray Inspection Systems, (1ea) Walk Through Multi-Zone Metal Detector along with a Maintenance and Repair Service Agreement at the Columbia Regional Office, 6437 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 B. Scope of Work The Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Office (VARO), Columbia intends to use the services of a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, material, supervision, and tools necessary to provide Installation, setup. and training for the requested assets. 1. Warranty a. Full 1-year warranty to cover parts, labor, and travel b. Full list of authorized repair companies within local area. We would prefer SDVOSBs WORK REQUIREMENTS A. Technical Requirements a. While on VARO premises, contractor employees will wear a company uniform and a visible identification badge, which contains a photograph of the employee. b. Contractor employee must always be accompanied by a VA employee while on facility premises. B. Additional Requirements: Deliverables 1 Post project completion Invoice: The contractor shall prepare and submit to the Regional Office COTR an original invoice of Assets and services provided. 2. The contractor will provide the service Identified in this contract between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. SUPPORTING INFORMATION A. Travel None B. Contract Changes/Modifications: Any changes to the terms and conditions of shall be authorized and approved only through written correspondence from the Contracting Officer. Costs incurred by the contractor through the actions of parties other than the Contracting Officer shall be borne by the contractor. G. Working Hours Installation shall be completed during normal work hours specified above
