Description
Amendment 0001 The purpose of this amendment is to: 1. Answer vendor questions regarding requirement specifications. 2. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. 1. Question: Access windows: it is written: ""- 1 EA load-unload station - 1 EA moveable cart at the lateral side Does this mean that there are two access points? One at the front, e.g. for loading, and the other from the side? Ideally, ifyou can show a sketch, a plan view, where to receive the goods, and where the cart is to go sideways, left or right? Answer: That means that there is one window in the shelf for load/unload and one cart which is responsible for transport the trays from the shelf out to be accessible. 2. Question: System dimensions: ""Depth: 2,800-3250 mm, Width: 7.200-7.500 mm It is impossible to fit the rack with an extended side trolley in these dimensions (because the shelf itself has a useful width of at least 6,300), please sketch the desired system layout / layout if possible. Unless it is the width dimension with the trolley inserted under the rack, but the customer must still be aware of the scope of the machine's operation, that there will be skids on the side and lateral exit of the trolley (to the side) Answer: The Dimensions of the shelf have to be within the provided ranges because we have a very limited space available, this shelf is a replacement. The load/unload must be in front of the shelf, side loading is not possible. 3. Question: Access times: according to what standard are calculated (FEM 9.851? Different?), please explain ""Single Access"" and ""Double Access"" (this is 1 cycle, only shelf download (call to any window) and Double Access is a download with return / storage?) for which window times are counted. Answer: We dont know how the access times are calculated. Single access means the time from hitting enter until the tray is in front of the shelf, double access means the time between moving the actual tray back to the shelf an pick another one. 4. Question: The power of the horizontal drive of the ""Extractor Power: 0.75 kW"" -> should it be equal to 0.75 kW? This affects the speed (lowers), for other drives, ""at least e.g. 11.0kW"" is given which is better, because it guarantees performance. Answer: The Extractor power must not exactly equal to 0.75kW but should at least ensure a safe movement of the 1,5t trays. 5. Question: Shelf construction - we do not understand this requirement - please explain / sketch? ""Four of the front-to-back tubes will be constructed with a slot track build in (this slot track accepts hex pin dividers)"" Answer: The existing shelf needs to be replaced, was built out of square tubes, and with welded on tracks to take the trays. The construction needs to take the tray including the load and should not exceed the specified overall dimensions. 6. Question: Operational Terminal: ""TC7.1"" please explain the abbreviation (7.1 ) ? Is the diagonal of the display? Generally a minimum of 10"" ""is used, less makes no sense, wide shelf, you won't see anything -> we have 10"" or there may be more) Answer: Its a Software Control Module, it needs to have a touchscreen with an easy control interface. 7. Question: Safety Kit composed of: ""Tunnel Control"" -> please explain what function is that for? Answer: Tunnel Control: that means that the load/unload window (tunnel) is controlled (secured) with light barriers, that no one can be in movement area as long as the shelf is operated/moving. 8. Question: One vendor has a shelf of length 6.450 mm but only can hold 990 kg. They have been unable to find a machine that can accommodate something that long with a payload of 1.500 kg. Are these actual weights? Answer: The trays needs at least a usable width of 6300mm, and a capacity of at least 1.5 tons per tray with around 220 mm height and 1.0 tons with around 110mm height. 9. Question: I wanted to know if you can send me a photo of the shelf you need? Answer: Picture will be provided with this Amendment 0001. (End of Summary of Changes) Purchase of 1 EA Heavy Duty Automated Vertical Lift System Ship to address: Rose Barracks, Suedlager Vilseck Building 308 92249 Vilseck, Germany Any questions MUST BE EMAILED to: evelyn.butter.ln@mail.mil or john.e.mcguire.civ@mail.mil NEW PHONE # Evelyn Butter 011-49-9641-70-526-8708 John McGuire 011-49-9641-70-526-8715
