- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri,�has issued a solicitation for the provision of On-site Spanish Interpreter services for the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners located in Springfield, Missouri. The contract period shall consist of the Effective Date of Award through September 30, 2021, four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government, and a 6 month extension. The requirement for these services will consist of an estimated 1152 sessions per 12 month period (approximately 24 sessions per week). Each session will be defined as one (1) hour in length. It is anticipated the services will be required Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.(15 sessions) with an additional nine sessions scheduled between Monday and Friday between the hours of 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The afternoon dates will vary but should total no more than three days. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Contract Opportunities website at beta.sam.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.sam.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is August 21, 2020, 1:00 P.M. CST, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 541930 with a size standard of $8.0 million. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. The anticipated date of award is September 1, 2020 with an effective date of award of October 1, 2020. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All offerors must be actively registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements at sam.gov. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted, in writing, to the listed government point of contact no later than 10:00a.m. CST on Friday, August 7, 2020.
