- MARKET SURVEY Introduction: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking interested sources that are capable of performing proactive janitorial services hereby described as Level II cleaning in response to the COVID 19 pandemic.� ��The purpose of the Level II cleanings is to provide a sterile environment at FAA Facilities by sterilizing, sanitizing and disinfection at numerous FAA facilities throughout the United States. � This market survey is issued, in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) paragraph, 3.2.1.2.1 to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all business types and sizes, capable of performing the work outlined.� � In order to assist with acquisition strategy development and to gain a better understanding of the commercial marketplace.� All interest businesses as encouraged to submit a response to this market survey. Disclaimer: The announcement is NOT A SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST (SIR) OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP).� The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and must not be construed as a commitment or a promise to contract by the Government. The Government is not liable for costs associated with the preparation, submittal of inquiries or responses for these announcements and will not reimburse any firm for costs incurred in responding to this public announcement. Responses will not be returned. North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code:� The NAICS code projected for this project is 561720� �Janitorial Services with a size standard of $19.5 million Submittal Requirement for Market Survey: Name of Company (the resultant Prime contractor that may ultimately be awarded the subsequent contract). Capability to perform work at multiple locations at the same time. Number of years in Business Scope of Work: ��Sample of Statement of Work: Proactive Cleaning Requirements for all Specified FAA Facilities These guidelines are in line with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and must be followed when cleaning and disinfecting the various areas, materials and surfaces. Facilities Covered: TBD Cleaning Requirements: 1. Wipe/disinfect high traffic, high touch point areas with a CDC approved disinfectant Dayshift ( TBD) �for Administrative Office; Day and Night shift (TBD) for Operational Facilities (see note below) Wipe/disinfect all areas one additional time High traffic/High touch areas include but are not limited to: High Traffic Entry and exit doors High traffic Stairwell Handrails Rest room doors (Entry doors and Stall doors) Restroom sinks and counters�� Cafeteria counter tops Cafeteria tables should be cleaned between each use Public use telephones (Offices, Lobbies, conference rooms, etc.) �Public use tables (inside and outside) �Conference room doors and tables Conference room tables Stairwell handrails and doors Additional high traffic areas or areas that require more frequent cleaning specific to the Location as applicable: Common work areas - work surfaces and chairs (arms and back) All breakrooms, including smoke room (tables, chairs, lounge chairs, vending machines, microwaves, stove knobs)-All Surfaces All restrooms All entry/exit doors/door handles/push bars Equip Room entrance/exit doors Areas identified by the site point of contact. Site� Specific Areas- Wipe/disinfect non-critical surfaces in the area as allowed, in accordance with CDC COVID-19 cleaning guidelines, per frequency requirements above, including: a.���A thorough wipe down of all chair arms.�� b.���Thoroughly spray chair seats with a disinfectant spray. c. � Thorough wipe down of desktops within operations area. For specific questions related operational equipment cleaning, refer to the following link: �NMA-20-029 Guidance regarding disinfecting National Airspace System (NAS) position equipment Note: For facilities in the National Airspace System (NAS) that operate 24 hours per day and provide services critical to safety; work performed on or near operational facilities or equipment, must be planned and conducted in a manner that minimizes or eliminates deterioration in the quality or quantity of services provided to the NAS. �Cleanings at such facilities will be required 3x a day at the frequency after each shift change and will require night work. The continued operation of all equipment in the NAS and the safety of life and property are paramount considerations in all work conducted under this contract. �The anticipated period of performance is 1 year, with four (4) 1-year option periods. 3.� Delivery of Submittals: Submittals to this market survey shall be e-mailed to Susan Newcomb (Contracting Officer) and Jacqueline Jones (buyer) no later than 5:00 p.m. EST August 25, 2020.
