Notice of Intent to Sole Source Notice Type:� Special Notice�� Narrative: Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source contract to the Pulmonair to procure the Bronchotron Transport Ventilation System.� � This pneumatic device uses a Phasitron and Operates with a single oxygen cylinder or from a standard high flow blender.� It does not depend on electrical power and has a built in alarm and monitoring display.� It does not depend on power and has a built-in Universal Monitron for real-time pressures and alarms.� Delivers high frequency percussive ventilation via entirely pneumatic controls making it suitable for air or ground transport.� FAA approved. Award will be made on or about 30 Sep 2020. The primary NAICS code for the requirement is 339112 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i): Only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization). This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
