Description

Engine DYNO: Provide Power Test Engine Dyno Model 50X02 the capability to properly test CAT electronically controlled engines.� Install the requested upgrades to give the capability to test CAT electronically controlled engines.� The following parts are required to upgrade the Power Test dyno: 63249.1 Commander-PNET Desktop: 1028061.2 ECM Interface assembly LT: Allows electronic engine performance data, conforming to SAE J1587, J1708, and J1939 protocols, to be monitored, displayed, and recorded by PowerNet systems. 44364 CAT box to ET cable Adapter- off highway 63359.025 breakout box- cat -25� cables: Designed to allow for the operation of electronically controlled engines when engine is removed from vehicle. Engine throttle control, engine cruise settings, and diagnostic information may be obtained using this device. Device must be compatible with military vehicles. 2. Transmission DYNO: Provide Aidco transmission test stand, model 850M, the capability to proper test GM 4L80E/4L85E, Allison WTEC MD 3070, HD 4560SP and Allison Generation 4 3700SP and 4500SP transmissions.� Install the requested upgrades to give the Aidco 850M the capability to test GM 4L80E/4L85E, Allison WTEC MD 3070, HD 4560SP and Allison Generation 4 3700SP and 4500SP transmissions.� The following parts are required to upgrade the Aidco 850M test stand: 1023817.013 GM THM 4L80E Shift Kit: Includes wiring harness for 4L80E (535482.013). 590555.04 TCM/TCU GEN 4 3K/4K: Programmed for 4500SP. 1024579.013 Allison Shift Kit �TCM based for Generation 4 3700SP: Programmed for 3700 Series transmission 3700 and 3700SP. Includes wiring harness for the Allison Generation 4 3K/4K and 3700SP (590866.013). Includes shift pad for generation 4 3K/4K and switch for 3700SP specific differential lock. 590555.02 TCM/TCU � WTEC III: Programmed for HD4560 transmission 1024577.013 Allison Shift Kit-TCM for the World Transmissions (WTEC II/III & 3070PT) 3K: Programmed for 3000 Series transmissions (up to 3500, including the 3070PT). Includes wiring harness for the Allison WTEC II/III (590864.013). Includes shift pad for WTEC II and III and switch for 3070PT specific differential lock. 991341 Shift Console Base: mobile cart designed to include specific TCMs for shifting electronic transmissions. Console will include power supply and accessories necessary to test each generation of transmissions to include testing GM 4L80E/4L85E, Allison WTEC MD 3070, HD 4560SP and Allison Generation 4 3700SP and 4500SP transmissions. 3. Task and Associated Deliverables: a. Contractor will provide and install all items requested to make the engine dyno capable of testing CAT electronically controlled engines. b. Contractor will provide one day training in the operation of engine dyno. Training will consist of setup and operation of a CAT electronically controlled engine on the engine dyno. Training will be provided to three mechanics. c. The CSMS #1 will provide a CAT electronically controlled engine for the contractor to use in the training process. d. Contractor will provide and install all items requested to make the Aidco transmission test stand capable of testing GM 4L80E/4L85E, Allison WTEC MD 3070, HD 4560SP and Allison Generation 4 3700SP and 4500SP transmissions. e. Contractor will provide two days of training in the operation of Aidco transmission test stand. Training will consist of set up and operation of 4L80E and 4500SP transmissions. Training will be provided to three mechanics. f. The CSMS #1 will provide transmissions for the contractor to use in the training process.
