- The United States Navy (USN) is seeking sources who have an existing 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge (ARC) magazine. The magazine must not affect the function of the weapon. The magazine must be capable of operating in extreme environmental conditions (sand, dust, rain, snow, etc�). Table 1 details the Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) and Table 2 details the Key Supporting Attributes (KSAs). Responses shall be limited to no more than 3 pages in size 12 Times New Roman Font of product narrative. The 3-page limitation does not include submission of product specifications and material data sheets. No classified information is to be provided in submission. TABLE 1 KPP Threshold Objective Magazine Capacity 20 Rounds 20+ Rounds Rounds between stoppages 1000 rounds 1000+ rounds TABLE 2 KSA Attribute Corrosion Resistance Magazine must be resistant to maritime environment Fit Must fit standard milspec M-4 magazine well Responses submitted no later than 4 September 2020 will be considered. A possible next step would involve execution of a bailment agreement, in order that Navy personnel can verify if a particular magazine meets the above KPPs and KSAs.
