- 2 Sources Sought Notice - Combi Oven/Steamer The Erie VA Medical Center located at: 135 E. 38TH Street, Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking information on potential sources to provide an Electric Combination Oven/Steamer for daily meal production and service for Veteran patients and residents. There is Start-up inspection service by factory authorized service agent needed for this contract. Potential vendors should respond with their ability to provide the following brand name (Blodgett Combi, Manufacturer #: BLCM6161E), or equal items. Brand Name Product: Blodgett Combi Combination Oven The specific characteristics or equal items needed to meet the Government s needs are: Salient Features (Brand Name or Equal): Combination Oven with injection steam system Must be electric;208V/25 amps Multiple cooking modes include hot air, combi 1 (30-40% steam), combi 2 (60-80% steam), retherming, steaming, low-temperature steaming, forced steam, and preheating. Three modes of cooking: steam, convection, combination Must be a double stack unit with two separate combi ovens mounted on equipment stand with locking castors Width must be at least 35 but not greater than 36 , Depth must be at least 35 but not greater than 36 , Height must be at least 68 but not greater than 70 Pan capacity must be at least 10 North American hotel pans and oven comes with at least 3 wire shelves per unit/oven 304 Stainless steel exterior and interior Dual pane tempered viewing window with hinged inner glass for easy cleaning with door mounted drip tray and fixed drain in bottom of center cavity Automatic door stops in positions 110 and 180 degrees with two step safety door latch Automatic Combi/Wash, closed circuit cleaning system Dial and digital display controls Control stores up to 50 recipe programs with 10 cooking stages each Reversible 9 speed fan Programmable time delay start 85-480-degree temperature range and 575-degree preheating Low water indicator External core temperature probe with multiple measuring points Lighted interior oven Must have one-year minimum (parts and labor) oven warranty & offer Start-up inspection service by factory authorized service agent. This is not a not a request for quote or proposals, but merely a means for Market Research. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential Small Businesses especially any SDVOSBs capable of providing the brand name or equal equipment. Information provided by businesses does not necessarily guarantee future contract award. Is your company considered small under the NAICS code identified under this RFI? Are you the manufacturer, distributor, or an equivalent solution to the items being referenced above? If you are a large business, do you have any designated distributors? If so, please provide their company name, telephone, point of Contact and size status (if available). If you re a small business and you are an authorized distributor/reseller for the items identified above or an equivalent solution, do you alter; assemble; modify; the items requested in any way? If you do, state how and what is altered; assembled; modified? If you intend to subcontract any work on this contract, what portion of the total cost will be self-performed/will be performed by your organization? Please provide estimated detailed percentage breakdowns related to sub contracted work and completion of job.
