- The Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source, firm-fixed priced Task Order under contract number VA797H-17-D-0022 for a base period of 12 months with two 12-month option periods exercisable at the discretion of the Government with one large business, Philips North America LLC (Philips) doing business as Philips Healthcare, A Division of PENAC, located at 22100 Bothell Everett Highway, Bothell, Washington 98021. Please note the Affiniti 50, Intellispace Cardiovascular R3.x, and Intellibridge Enterprise CV maintenance will be sole sourced to Philips but is not currently on contract number VA797H-17-D-0022. Philips is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for Philips imaging equipment. The contractor shall provide all firmware, software, installation, parts, labor, calibration and preventive maintenance inspections per the OEM recommendations and guidelines to fulfill this requirement at 2002 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77030. The North American Industry Classification code for this acquisition is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The size standard is $22,000,000.00. This purchase will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.505, Ordering and FAR 16.505(2)(i)(B) Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized. The estimated award date is October 29, 2020. Please review the attached Draft Statement of Work and the Notice of Intent to Sole Source. Interested parties shall provide the requested information listed in the attached Notice of Intent to Sole Source.
