- Description
- Evidence Based Clinical Behavioral Health Training This requirement is being resolicited. Questions and answers: 1. Can the training occur completely online (via video conference)? Answer: Contractor must be able to render classes via any avenues listened in the Statement of Work. The format for presentation must lend itself to the information being presented. Purely didactic training can be presented online or by video, but training topics that require group interaction or group breakout shall be performed in person. The contractor shall have the ability to present in all formats with presenters that have the proper credentialing or licensure for the topic being presented. 2. What is the expected length of each training? Answer: It is expected that group intensive classes to be 1-2 days based on the material being presented. 3. The statement of work states that the contractor needs to provide 4 trainings per year. Are these trainings week long trainings or day long trainings? What is the format of the trainings? How far apart are the trainings for the various therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, ETC....)? Answer: Based on historical data (training), each course should be 2 days. The training should be on site here at BMACH 90% of the time. 10% can be online, VTC. We would like to reach a format of providing a different training of our choice per quarter. 4.The statement of work states the contractor needs to provide CEUs for the trainings. Is there a board that my instructors need to register with in order to provide the CEUs to the staff at the VA? I have a Doctorate level instructor as well as Master level instructors who are practicing counselors and very knowledgeable in CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR. I just want to make sure we are able to provide the CEUs to the staff at the VA when we present our trainings. Answer: We do not govern CEUs. It is incumbent on the company to find the correct pathway to ensure that their training meets the requirements to ensure CEUs are offered. This training is to providers employed by DOD not the VA.
